Privacy Policy

1. Who we are
“Kery” refers to the open-source software project and this website (kery.dev). This policy describes how we handle information in connection with the marketing site and how we expect deployments of the software to behave by default.
2. This website (kery.dev)
The static marketing site is designed not to require accounts. We do not intentionally collect personal data through forms on this site. Our hosting provider may process standard server or edge logs (such as IP address, user agent, and request path) for security and reliability - refer to your host’s documentation for retention and subprocessors.
We use analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Vercel Web Analytics, and PostHog to understand site traffic, page performance, referral sources, and product interest. These tools may process technical information such as IP address, browser, device, referrer, pages viewed, and interaction events. We do not use website analytics to collect product credentials or self-hosted Kery run artifacts.
3. Self-hosted Kery (open source)
When you run Kery yourself, you control the infrastructure. Test artifacts, credentials, LLM prompts, database contents, and logs reside in your environment. The open-source project does not phone home by default; review the repository and your configuration for any optional integrations you enable.
4. Future hosted Kery (“Kery Cloud”)
A managed offering may collect and process personal data to operate the service - for example account details, billing, support correspondence, and operational telemetry needed to run the product. We will publish a dedicated privacy notice and data processing terms before any hosted service accepts customers.
5. Third parties
Kery can be configured to call third-party AI providers (for example language model APIs). Those calls are governed by your agreements with those vendors. You are responsible for the categories of data you send to them and for complying with applicable law.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain personal data. For data processed only on your self-hosted deployment, exercise those rights with your own organization. For data we process as a controller through this site or a future hosted product, contact us using the channels listed on GitHub once published.
7. Changes
We may update this policy as the product and site evolve. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above and, where appropriate, an announcement in the repository or on this site.
8. Contact
Questions about this policy can be opened as a discussion or issue on the Kery GitHub repository.
